Uncomplicated duplication

The exact repetition of camera movement (multipass) makes it possible to duplicate the actors in
a picture. The easiest variation of this effect is the creation of a doppelganger.
On a bigger scale the crowd duplication works on the same principle: For the feature film “Titanic” they had 100 extras shot forty times to create the illusion of
a crowded deck.
